It seems that this is a Google News Week . After the ” I feel lucky” top story we now have the next big thing from Google coming “up” : Online File Storage . We all know that Google offers the biggest number of gigabytes for storage in all of their major “programs” Gmail , Picasa and Google aps. Know they are planing on moving this to the next level and offering the users the capability to store any kind of files. The Google Online File storage hasn’t been officially confirmed yet but everybody is starting to raise questions on Google’s new project .
Questions raised till now :
1. Will the users be bombarded with ads when trying to access their online date ?
I don’t think this will be a problem . We are used with ads and some of us make our income from ads so i don’t see the problem
2. Will your data be secure?
Google is not the first company to offer an online file storage so i think everything is going to be fine .
I think the best thing is to wait and see what will happen .

Well having used Gmail for about 2 years now I think this will be a welcome addition from Google.
Sure there is ads in gmail, but nothing like yahoo or hotmail.
The ads are targeted to what you’re doing so its a win win for all of us.

Their online storage would become a success, like their other ventures. Google is difficult to imitate, or they make things like that. Sonding very geek and high level. So it catches up with several people. Regarding ads or privacy, google is just the same as others, except that laconic style.
The only question is will our private data/files be secured?
